Aluminum Wet Dust Collector

This Aluminum Wet Dust Collector is ducted to several Aluminum Polishing and Grinding Secondary Operations where a heavy loading of the Combustible Dust was going to be a concern. The customer wanted to comply with all NPFA 484 Regulations regarding the Wet Collection of Aluminum Dust. The customer experienced heavy loading in the HydroAIR Wet Collector and thus added the feature of a Cassette type easy pull-out Sludge Ejector.

Aluminum Wet Dust Table

ReplaceAIR offers customer special design and deliver features. The Aluminum Polishing application by this customer needed a Wet Table. A deal was struck with ReplaceAIR and the customer sent the Polishing Belt Tool which was special mounted by our production. Customer ordered the Sludge Ejector Option and this might well be the only Wet Downdraft Table in existence with Sludge Ejection. His interest was to protect his employees from the hazards of Aluminum Dust which falls into the regulations of Combustible Dust and enforced by NFPA 484.

Magnesium Wet Dust Collector

This Magnesium Wet Dust Collector (double design) is used by this customer who performs secondary operations on large Magnesium Cast products in a remote booth. Magnesium Dust falls into the strictest regulations of NFPA 484. His interest was to protect his employees from the hazards of the Magnesium Dust which also falls into the regulations of Combustible Dust. This dust can build up into building rafters and floor corners until it represents one of the worst fire and explosion hazards encountered in manufacturing buildings.

Magnesium Wet Dust Table

This Magnesium Wet Dust Table (double table) is used by this customer who performed secondary operations on Magnesium Cast Products (tab removal and edge fine clean up). His interest was to protect his employees from the hazards of Magnesium Dust which falls into the Regulations of Combustible Dust.This Dust can build up into building rafters and floor corners until it represents one of the worst fire and explosion hazards encountered in Manufacturing Buildings.

Titanium Wet Dust Collector

This Wet Collector, sized at 4,000 cfm is ducted to 3 Robot Cells. In these cells, Titanium Parts are put through a final fine polishing on the edges by the robots. The customer wanted to comply with all Titanium Dust NFPA Regulations regarding the potential accumulation of this combustible dust. There was considerable concern regarding the build up of this explosive metal dust on the floor and rafters of his manufacturing facility.

Wet Collector

This Wet Collector, sized 10,000 cfm is ducted to half of a large Stainless Steel Polishing and Buffing Line. The customer wanted wanted to comply with all OSHA and NFPA Fire Regulations regarding the potential sparks and fires that burned up his previous Dry Dust Collection Systems. The customer expected heavy loading in the HydroAIR Wet Collector and thus added the feature of a cassette type easy pull-out Sludge Ejector. The unit is also equipped with a “removable wet collector impeller” for easy maintenance and access to this part of the equipment where the scrubbing takes place.

Wet Table

Our company offers all NFPA 484 Regulation requirement special options, as the 24-7 off-line vent blower (the small blower showing on the top of the unit). This is required to be mandatory “on” at all times and the main blower is not operating. This handles the venting requirement of potential Hydrogen gas build up in the unit housing (from combustible dust). The side panels on HydroAIR Wet Tables are very effective in Controlling dusts generated on the table surface for secure capture down into the water scrubber and tub below. An exterior mounted main motor out of the airstream and is essential for AMCA Compliance Wet Dust Collectors.
