HYDROAIR FOR LOW MASS DENSITY PARTICULATE THAT HAS A SLOW DESCENDING RATES – THE HOPPER UNIT WITH TAP OFF PUMP

A situation that is seldom considered in Wet Collectors is the advantages of using a Wet Collector on lightweight particulates (low mass density) such as non-solvent food dust or similar.
These explosive dust applications have long been controlled by Dry Collectors, which have a requirement of complicated and expensive Conflagration Control Systems, such as heat and spark sensors, along with associated more expensive relief dampers and sprinkler/flooding systems.
Many of these are left off or not maintained, and thus, there is just the wait for a potential fire or explosion, as compared to the instant safety of a Wet Collector that will not have that issue.
A diaphragm pump, continuously run at extremely low levels, will keep the particulate from building up and allow this effluent at low levels into a municipal sewer or a simple water filter unit.
