DOUBLE HOPPER DUAL PUMP OUT OR CONTINUOUS TAP OFF ON FOOD DUST

A food manufacturer and packager had just returned a cartridge unit that had failed quickly (blocking and stopping self-cleaning the cartridges) with the dry and/or sticky dust application of their production. A stainless steel impeller design Wet Scrubber Collector would be the best option to address the explosion and fire potential, and a HydroAIR with its always full Stainless Steel Construction and the new Patent using Insertable Scrub Modules was a great plus for maintenance requirements with the ease of total “Empty Out” of the internal components.

Additionally, the double Hopper Design gave much steeper Hopper Angles (for accumulating sludge material) to the twin pump outs. Most important was the capability of “Tap Off” small gpm amounts that would be required for the low mass density dusts that would continually present in the scrub water.

It was a very successful job for HydroAIR and demonstrated the new food dust capability with the Patent design.
